They are evil and ugly
I haven’t written in a long time. I have a business to run and a family to support, and writing doesn’t come easy for me.
I’m firing this post off without my usual drawn-out thought process because trying to order my thoughts just leads to profound sadness and rage.
In 2025, the Trump Administration and Elon Musk’s DOGE almost destroyed my business. We serve non-profits and academia, and many of our clients’ budgets were decimated. No money for podcasts.
But we survived. And now, we’re fighting back.
We’re actively seeking clients who promote democracy and freedom, and we will refuse clients who support the fascist regime dominating the U.S. government.
But that’s not enough.
So today, in the wake of the murders of two U.S. citizens by America’s fascist regime, I’m changing my tone and calling people out.
Republicans are fascists
The Republican Party is now a fully fascist regime. It is fundamentally no different than the early Nazi Party in 1930s Germany.
The Republican Party, its media propaganda machine, and the billionaire oligarchs who support all of it now willingly, knowingly, blatantly lie to Americans without even pretending that they are telling the truth.
No elected Republicans anywhere, since the beginning of this Administration, have distanced themselves from the fascist dictatorship in the White House. A few have pushed back on this or that policy, but none have walked away from a Party that is overtly white supremacist and dictatorial.
No elected Republican has stood up to oppose the dismantling of the rule of law in the U.S.A.
None has repudiated the Administration’s abandonment of their oaths to defend and uphold the U.S. Constitution.
Every elected Republican—every single one—has in some way, shape, or form defended, supported, or endorsed what Trump’s fascist regime is doing to the United States.
They lie to us, and they know we know they are lying, yet they dare us to call out their lies.
They murder us in broad daylight and dare us to defend ourselves, threatening to murder more of us if we do not comply.
Are you a fascist?
If you still call yourself a Republican, you’re a fascist at worst and a fascist enabler at best.
If you still vote for any Republican, anywhere, you are a fascist.
I’m sorry if that offends you.
You offend the very heart and soul of what once made this nation the greatest ever on the face of the earth. You are a fascist, and fascists are an abomination.
Democrats are (mostly) feckless
There are plenty of elected Democrats who are speaking the truth in the face of the unpopular fascist rule.
But the Democratic Party leadership has been mostly silent in the face of the gravest threat to the Republic since the Civil War.
In Congress, every statement released by Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries has been written by a focus group. Every position they take is decided by polling. Neither man is fitted for these times. None of it matters.
For years, Republicans have claimed, “Democrats hate America.” They repeat it like a mantra.
But, in the face of a Republican regime that actively, violently hates millions of Americans, Democrats can’t bring themselves to say, “Republicans hate America.”
Why? “It doesn’t poll well.”
That’s what drives today’s Democratic Party.
Personally, any Democrat not willing to stand up and speak the truth right now can fuck all the way off. You’re an enabler, too.
To my knowledge, not a single Democrat with a national presence has set foot on the front lines of the battle to save America, taking place every day in the streets of Minneapolis.
Not Schumer, not Jeffries, not Gavin Newsom, or Andy Beshear, or Josh Shapiro, or Kamala Harris, nor anyone else who might consider running for President in 2028. No one.
No, the fight for the soul and future of our nation is being led by grandmothers and grandfathers, by school teachers and nurses, by everyday people braving bone-chilling cold to stand up to thugs who roam the streets looking for anyone who will stand up to them, and are ready to murder anyone who tries.
We are all Minneapolis
So it’s up to us to save America. It’s up to us to speak out against white supremacy. It’s up to us to call a fascist a fascist. It’s up to us to take to the streets.
Everywhere fascism lurks. Everywhere white supremacy shakes its ugly fist.
Stand up and fight this. Stand in the street. Blow your whistles. Text your friends. Wear your inflatable frog costume. Call the fascists out in your own towns and neighborhoods.
